At Laguna Locks, we specialise in providing high-quality synthetic braid-in dreadlocks and hybrid wavy locs that braid in to your natural hair.

These can be an introduction to your dreadlock journey, or they can be installed for a special occasion. Re-install your synthetic set as many times as you like. Take them out for a break or remove and install on the same day. Add a few different colours or to rotate your sets for a constantly changeable look.

Synthetic Dreadlocks (Braid-ins)

Synthetic dreadlocks or “braid Ins” made in any colour and any style from good quality synthetic hair fibre. Made with a loop for single ended or double ended to give more volume. These are installed into loose unlocked hair with a special braid and secured with bands and thread. The install lasts 8-12 weeks depending on your hair growth.

These are a great way to protect or improve your hairs’ natural condition, or to grow out a style or colour. 5cms minimum of your own length needed. Synthetics can be removed and installed on the same day without any damage to your hair or scalp. Your set of Synthetic locs can be reinstalled multiple times.

Dutch Braids

Colourful synthetic hair of your choice can be braided and extended to you hair for a protective style for a weekend or holiday.
Appointments take around half an hour, the braids can last up to a week.

Wraps

These additions are pre made, on a loop and can be quickly braided in to your hair. They will stay in for up to 8 weeks, when you can remove and keep them -ready for another day, choose any colour combinations, include hair charms and pendants.

Hair Tinsel

These add flashes of sparkle for a unique addition to your loose hair. They are secured to the roots of your hair with a silicone micro bead. Choose any colour.

Synthetic Braid Ins Removal

This can be done on the same day as your re-install.
All bands and threads are carefully removed, your natural hair is combed through and washed.
It can take up to 3 hrs.
